Health & Wellness

Our Health and Wellness Center offers free and low-cost medical services to students, including first aid, physicals, women's healthcare and more.

Health and Wellness provides medical care and mental health support to PBA students through Jupiter Medical Center and our Counseling Center.

Location

Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care is located at 625 N. Flagler Drive West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Located less than a mile from campus, the facility will serve campus residents, commuters, athletes, evening and graduate students. Free valet parking is available and the center can be reached by foot or bike within minutes. 

The University Counseling Center, staffed with full-time licensed mental health professionals, is located at 125 Okeechobee Hall Next to the Rinker Center for Experiential Learning and the Rinker Companies Office on the west side of Okeechobee Hall).

Hours

Office hours for Jupiter Medical Center are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. Visits are by appointment only, except in cases of acute illness or injury. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.

The office hours for University Counseling Center are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

All students attending our West Palm Beach campus as a new, transfer or international student are required to complete the health forms below. All forms must be submitted to the Health and Wellness Center prior to August 1 (for students starting in the spring semester the forms should be submitted prior to December 1). Submit forms to health_wellness@pba.edu or fax to (561) 803-2499. We also provide a New Student Checklist to help you keep track of required forms.

Insurance

Palm Beach Atlantic University is pleased to offer students an affordable student health insurance plan. All full-time day undergraduate, pharmacy, and international students are required to provide proof of current and acceptable health insurance coverage each academic year. These students are automatically enrolled and billed for the student health insurance plan. The insurance charge will only be removed if an approved waiver has been received by the deadline.
