Ray Titus

Ray Titus, Founder & CEO of United Franchise Group. is a life-long entrepreneur who has developed a group of successful franchise brands including Signarama, Fully Promoted, Transworld Business Advisors, Super Green Solutions, Venture X, Experimac, and others. UFG supports more than 1,400 franchisees in more than 80 countries. Ray will help you understand the role of the Founder & CEO in Franchise Development.

Mike Hawkins

At the age of 24, Mike Hawkins invested in a Success Motivation Institute franchise specializing in training and personal development programs for small business owners. That was 46 years ago and Mike since 1995 Mike has been selling franchises for global giant The Dwyer Group. During the Bootcamp, he’ll share his process for closing franchise sales. It’s a session you can’t afford to miss!

Michael Webster

An attorney who has worked in franchising, Michael Webster co-founded Franchise-Info with Joe Caruso more than ten years ago. Franchise-Info helps franchisors use LinkedIn to recruit more qualified franchise owners. Franchise-Info combines the science of choice with tried and tested methods of sales as process and Michael will share insights with you during lunch on the first day of the Bootcamp.

Jason anderson

Jason Anderson, president Accurate Franchising, works with dozens of new and experienced franchisors. He has created a turnkey solution for owners looking to franchise their businesses. Jason helped United Franchise Group sell more than 350 franchises in 2016. He’ll share inside information about franchise sales lead sources and their effectiveness during the Bootcamp. 

Jania Bailey

Jania Bailey, CFE, is the CEO of FranNet, the most respected voice in the franchise consultant industry in North America. Jania sits on the Executive Board of Directors for the International Franchise Association (IFA) and serves as Vice Chair on the IFA Membership Committee. Jonathan Benjamin

For the Selling Franchises Bootcamp, Jonathan E. Benjamin will provide insights about how to invest your money to generate qualified franchise sales leads, something he’s been doing for 20+ years at companies ranging in size from startups to Fortune 500s. Jonathan is currently leading the expansion efforts for Briggo, Inc., an Austin-based specialty coffee company that uses a robotic, fully-automated barista.

Rijck Bisio

Franchise Coach Rick Bisio has focused on franchising for 25+ years. Formerly Director of International Development for AFC Enterprises, Rick has spent the last 16 years matching exceptional people with proven franchises. Rick authored the Amazon bestselling book, The Educated Franchisee, 3rd Edition. He’ll share insights about working with franchise coaches and brokers.

Paul Bosley

Learn what you can do to help finance a new franchisee in a Roundtable with discussant Paul E. Bosley. Paul operates Finance Depot and since 2006 he has provided $37.5-million in financing. Paul is a member of the Titus Center for Franchising Advisory Board. 

Jim Butler

You want to know how to improve your performance closing franchise sales and how to generate more quality leads from expos? Jim Butler will give you that information during the Bootcamp. He’s spent the last 28+ years in franchising and serves as the Director of Sales for United Franchise Group, overseeing all franchise sales for the United States and Australia.

Will Edwards

 An executive with 45 years of broad international business experience, William Edwards has lived in 7 countries and worked on projects in 70 countries. Bill founded Edwards Global Services, Inc. in 2001 to take U.S. franchise brands global. A Certified Franchise Executive, Bill is active in the International Franchise Association. In addition to sharing pathways to international expansion he’ll also lead a Roundtable discussion during the Bootcamp.

Gary Findley

With over 30 years of experience in helping new and experienced entrepreneurs build over 9,500 locations worldwide, Gary Findley, the self-proclaimed “Redneck CEO”, oversees one of the fastest-growing multi-brand franchise chains – Restoration 1 and bluefrog Plumbing + Drain. He’ll participate in the Bootcamp session New PR: Use Media to Build Your Brand, 

Martha Flynn

Martha Tomas Flynn, Senior Director of Global Franchise Services for Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., leads the teams responsible for supporting the Dunkin' Donuts® and Baskin-Robbins® expansion strategies for new and existing markets in both the U.S. and internationally. This includes franchisee recruitment strategies, candidate qualifications, development services and contract administration. In addition to her role within DBI, Martha is currently the Vice-Chair of the Board of Advisors for the Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance. 

Tony Foley

Tony Foley has served as International Director for United Franchise Group and has helped UFG award master licenses in more than a dozen countries. During the Bootcamp he’ll share insights gleaned from a 30+ year career in franchise development. Tony has worked closely with U.S. Commercial Service posts around the world and with the Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C.

Tim Goering

Tim Goering, MakingLuck, Inc., uses Sandler System’s strategies and tactics to overcome Leadership, Management, Sales and Customer Service challenges. During the Bootcamp, Tim will discuss personalities that most effectively sell franchises and he’ll help you better understand your your DiSC Profile and how to adapt skills and behaviors that will help you sell more franchises.

Robert Jones

Robert Jones is responsible for developing investor leads for brands in global markets on behalf of Edwards Global Services. He will co-lead the Roundtable discussion: Using Gold Keys for International Development. Prior to working with EGS, Bob facilitated the expansion of U.S. companies into global markets for almost 22 years as a Commercial Officer with the U.S. Senior Foreign Service.

Lori Kiser

Franchise Insider, Lori Kiser, has over 30+ years in the franchise industry. From a Slurpee Girl at 7-Eleven to the president of FranChoice, Lori understands the franchise industry inside and out. Thomas Scott

Thomas Scott writes highly read articles about franchise lead generation and sales. He has helped over 100 franchise brands create breakthroughs in franchise development, recruiting well over 10,000 franchisees. He is the co-author of “Franchise Sales Tipping Point” and publishes a franchising podcast, “What the Franchise.” Thomas has been a multi-unit franchisee in three systems and has been a franchisor, growing his franchise system, Showhomes, to over 100 locations.

Geoff Seier

Geoff Seiber, Chief Executive Officer, FranFund, will help you understand how to use financing as a qualifier and a closing tool during the Bootcamp. Geoff is a member of several corporate and advisory boards in the franchise industry, including the IFA Supplier Board and the Titus Center for Franchising Advisory Board.

Michael White

Michael White began his career in franchising in 2000 as the Marketing Representative for his local Signarama location. He joined United Franchise Group in 2008 as the Regional Manager for the Carolinas. Having held various roles in the years since, he is currently the Director of Sales for United Franchise Group, overseeing the sales for the US and Australia. He will share information about UFG’s highly rewarding Discovery Day process.

Lori Olsey

Lori Osley, Sr. Dir of Franchise Development and Marketing at Sonic Drive-in’s, has a keen ability to develop relationships with budding entrepreneurs and consequently works with both new and existing franchisees. Sonic has more than 3,600 locations across the U.S. offering traditional and non-traditional locations. Lori has been in her role for more than 12 years. Prior to Sonic, she worked 13 years at Fleming Foods. Lori says franchising is a “relationship business” and “I help folks to live a dream; or, talk them out of a dream; but, we figure it out together.”

Tom FeltensteinTom Feltenstein is hailed as a foremost authority on marketing, franchising and retail. He learned his trade from the grill up -– insisting he got his doctorate degree as a senior marketing executive from McDonald’s Corporation as Ray Kroc’s disciple. He has been a featured speaker among superstars for the International Franchise Association (IFA). He’s a widely published author, and has written 14 books, including Change is Good …You go First, which has sold some 185,000 copies.

Carl ZwislerWho’s Who Legal 2018 calls Carl Zwisler a “Global Elite Thought Leader … known for his impressive international practice. He is skilled in drafting and executing franchise agreements spanning multiple jurisdictions and is a go-to lawyer for complex mandates.” Chambers Global writes:  "He has encyclopaedic knowledge and is one of the best in the world. He is seen as a leader in his field." He is located in the Washington, DC office of Gray Plant Mooty.

Lane FisherIn private practice since 1989, Lane Fisher currently represents more than 180 franchised brands in business transactions and complex franchise litigation. He is serving in his second six-year term as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association (IFA). Every year since 2004, Philadelphia Magazine has identified Fisher as a Pennsylvania SuperLawyer and Franchise Times identified Fisher in the "Top 100 Franchise Attorneys", earning its Legal Eagle designation. FisherZucker was recently designated a “Best Supplier” by Entrepreneur Magazine, finishing in the top two franchise law firms serving the Entrepreneur Franchise 500.

Ben LitalienBen Litalien, CFE, has invested over two decades in the franchise community with a broad range of management and franchise-building experience. His specific strengths are in strategic planning, organizational development, concept management, and franchise system growth. He has developed and implemented strategic plans for a diverse group of companies.
