Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus Update:
Winter 2014 – Phase 2
Construction of the entry way and ancillary buildings, which include the restrooms, scorer’s booth, concession area, security and maintenance/storage buildings, is quickly progressing on the Rinker Athletic Campus.

Mitch Gornto Tennis Complex
Construction of the state-of-the-art Mitch Gornto Tennis Complex, which will include 13 varsity courts, will be ready for play in early 2014. The six practice tennis courts are equipped with shade shelters, wind screens and drinking fountains.

Construction of the practice, intramural and lacrosse fields has begun. The soccer, baseball and softball fields are expected to be completed before the end of 2013. The racquetball, volleyball and basketball courts are expected to be ready for play in 2014.

Safety and Security
The Rinker Athletic Campus has 24-hour security provided by Palm Beach Atlantic University’s trained Campus Safety officers. Neighbors and visitors are encouraged to direct any questions or concerns to the Senior Vice President for Finance, Administration and Planning John Kautz III for prompt resolution at John_Kautz@pba.edu or (561) 803-2083.
It is the goal of Palm Beach Atlantic University to provide a state-of-the-art athletic and recreational campus in a Christian atmosphere for the enjoyment of its students, faculty, staff, and PBA visitors.
In conjunction with the City of West Palm Beach, the University holds neighborhood meetings in order to provide regular updates on the Rinker Athletic Campus construction and to address any concerns.
