Visit PBA: Open Houses

The Palm Beach Atlantic University campus is adjacent to Flagler Drive allowing for great views of the Intracoastal Waterway.How do you know if Palm Beach Atlantic University is for you? Come see for yourself. Once you’re here, you’ll get a sense of our:

Supportive community — meet the faculty who will mentor, guide and encourage you

Christian-centered education — visit a classroom and see how Christian principles are woven into the learning experience.

Tropical location — see the Intracoastal Waterway from campus, walk to nearby beaches and take in the beauty that is everywhere.

Open Houses

An ideal way to explore PBA is to attend one of our Open Houses. The cost is just $35, which includes three meals, snacks and a PBA T-shirt. Your parents may attend for an additional $10 each, which also includes three meals.

Our individual “campus visits” are designed around your requests and are available year round.

*PLEASE NOTE:  IF WE REACH CAPACITY, OPEN HOUSE REGISTRATIONS MAY CLOSE PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE.  Additionally, due to the high level of individualized preparation and attention that each Open House guest receives, we are unable to accept any late registration.

If you’re interested in visiting, please call our Campus Visit Coordinator at (561) 803-2992 or toll free at (888) 468-6722. You also may register for an Open House or fill out a Campus Visit Request Form.

NOTE: Only students spend the night at PBA. For family members, be sure to check several area hotels offer special rates for PBA guests. Traveling alone? Contact your admissions counselor or call (561) 803-2133 for travel advice.


Sample Schedule*    

Day 1
4 – 6:30 p.m.
Check-in and dinner for students and family members.

Attend optional information sessions; learning more about our Honors, Study Abroad or Early Action Junior Programs.

Take a campus tour or tour our Residence Halls.

 7 – 7:45 p.m.

President’s Welcome for students and family members 

8 – 9:30 p.m.

Students attend a PBA event with your Residence Hall Host. Parents attend a Faculty Publication Reception.

9:45 – 11:15 p.m.
Students and their hosts enjoy pizza, soda and games.

Female students enjoy a talk in a Johnson Dorm room overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.
You'll have the option of staying overnight with a current student and find out what PBA dorm life is really like. *Parents be sure to reserve your hotel room early.

Day 2
7:15 – 8:15 a.m.
Breakfast with your parents.

8:30 – 8:45 a.m.
Morning Information Session for students and family members.

9 – 9:50 a.m.
Campus Tour

10 – 10:50 a.m.
Students attend a class in their area of interest. Parents attend a financial aid seminar.

11 a.m. – Noon
Academic Majors Fair / Meet the Professors

Noon – 12:45 p.m.
Lunch with Student Success Center for students
and  family members.

1 – 1:50 p.m.
Chapel services for students and family members.

2 – 3 p.m.
Christian Distinctives Session for students. Parents attend an information session designed just for them!

3 – 3:15 p.m.
Evaluations; Prospective Students T-Shirt distribution
