PBA Orlando Plans Servant Leadership Conference

PBA Orlando will host the second annual servant leadership conference. This year's theme is "It Starts With You."PBA Orlando will welcome 60 business, community and church leaders to its second annual servant leadership conference, centered on the theme “It Starts With You,” March 6-7.

The conference unites those who want to grow in knowledge of servant leadership and gain new skills to practice it. Ten experts with years of experience will deliver talks and workshops to equip leaders so they can more effectively lead others. Topics include the heart, soul, mind, body, humility, authenticity, vulnerability, courage, emotional intelligence and more.

Conference teachers include:

  • Dr. Sam Voorhies, director of the Center for Biblical Leadership & professor of leadership 
  • Dr. David Piccolo, associate professor of leadership & coordinator of Orlando leadership programs
  • Dr. Jeremy Couch, Orlando Campus executive director & assistant professor of leadership
  • Dr. Jim Laub, professor of leadership & coordinator of the graduate leadership program
  • Dr. Lauren Hodges, facilitator, content creator, consultant
  • Janie Lacy '07, psychotherapist, mental health counselor, relationship expert, TV personality
  • Shannon Walsh, chief leadership officer, Global Equanimity Advisors
  • John Crossman, CEO, entrepreneur, community & diversity leader, author
  • David Jacques, pastor & entrepreneur
  • Anita Torres, executive leadership coach & consultant

 Sessions begin 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday, following check-in and continental breakfast at 8:30.
