Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Board of Trustees elected Timothy S. Sotos (B.S., MBA Wharton School of Business University of Pennsylvania) as its new chair effective Jan. 1, 2020.
He previously served as vice chair and has been a trustee for several years. Sotos has served on various trustee committees and is a guest speaker in the classroom. As a Palm Beach resident, he has been involved in several local charitable and nonprofit groups. Sotos has served as a director and board secretary of Royal Poinciana Chapel, where he currently co-leads the Chapel Men’s Group. He also served as a director of the Community Health Center of West Palm Beach, and as a volunteer and supporter of Urban Youth Impact and Friends of Palm Beach.
Sotos is a retired business executive with over 30 years of experience in the health care industry, serving in various positions as chair, president and CEO or director of several privately held companies.
Michael J. Stevens (B.S., University of Florida) of Jupiter has been elected vice chairman. Stevens is president of JJR Properties, Inc. and manager of Rinker Enterprises, Inc.
Timothy D. Leuliette (B. S., M.B.A., University of Michigan) of West Palm Beach has been elected board treasurer. Leuliette is chairman, president and CEO of Leuliette Partners LLC, a privately held financial and merchant banking firm.
R. Marshall Jones (A.B., Harvard College; J.D., University of Akron Law School) of Palm Beach Gardens, is board secretary. Jones is a principal with Jones Lowry, an independent financial life insurance planning firm headquartered in West Palm Beach.
