Executive Vice President for Advancement Laura Bishop has promoted Jason Masterson to Senior Director of Marketing.
In his new role, Masterson will guide the University’s strategic marketing plan. He will develop and execute enrollment marketing strategies, lead branding and content strategy across the University’s schools and Centers of Excellence, manage the University’s digital presence on the web and in social media and build University brand awareness and position through strategic, integrated communication across print, digital, social media and traditional media channels such as TV and radio.
“I am thrilled to have Jason join the Advancement Team,” Bishop said. “He brings a great combination of the art and science of marketing, a passion for attracting prospective students to our Christ-first University, and a can-do approach to his work.”
Previously, Masterson served as Director of Recruitment Media and Communications in Admissions, where he strategically connected with multi-generational audiences through new branding techniques and content creation. Additionally, Masterson used data to create targeted social media leads and email campaigns for prospective students.
“I’m excited that Jason’s role at PBA has expanded to include overall marketing for the University while he continues to lead the marketing initiatives for prospective students,” said Tim Worley, Vice President for Admissions. “There is great synergy between the Admission and Advancement Teams, and through Jason’s expanded role, this will continue to grow.”
Masterson brings data analytics, digital marketing strategy and strategic marketing skills to the Advancement team. Prior to PBA, Masterson served as Director of Communications and Marketing at Christ Fellowship and guided digital strategy for the globally-recognized diet brand SlimFast.
