The NCAA received more than 3,000 bid submissions from member schools, conferences, sports commissions and cities vying to host predetermined rounds for 84 of the 90 championships. Evaluation criteria included creating an exceptional experience for student-athletes and adherence to the bid specifications, such as optimal facilities, ease of travel, ample lodgings and an atmosphere that is safe and respects the dignity of all attendees.
