30th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament Raises Record $61,000

The 30th annual Palm Beach Atlantic University Alumni Association Golf Tournament held October 7 raised $61,413 for the Annual Fund, a record high for the tournament.

Nearly 196 golfers participated in the event held at PGA National Resort’s Champion and Fazio courses. The winning foursome on the Champion course with a score of 53 consisted of Masi Saari, Mark Kukkamaa, Tommy Belen and Davis McDulin. On the Fazio, the foursome with players Joby Slay, Chris Peddicord, Ben Hartman and Jayson Schmidt won with a score of 54.

To date, the tournament has raised an endowment of over $1.4 million and provided over 180 students with scholarships. The Alumni Association recently awarded 52 annual scholarships, which are renewable by undergraduates who remain in good standing at the University.

The 31st annual event is scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2018.
