Outstanding Fall Graduates Announced at Honors Chapel

Eight students have been named the outstanding graduates of their schools and were recognized during Palm Beach Atlantic University’s fall 2015 Honors Day ceremony.

The honorees were:

Palm Beach Atlantic University's fall 2015 outstanding graduates are (from left) Rick Sauber-Cole, Ryan Murray, Sandra Kaider, Kimberlyn Watson, Michelle Boss, Sarah Wilson, Yanisa Reyes and Ashley Taylor. Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) is a private, Christ-centered college in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.

Michelle Boss of Oregon City, Oregon, is the outstanding graduate in the School of Arts and Sciences. She is majoring in English and secondary education.

Rick Sauber-Cole of Corsicana, Texas, is the outstanding graduate of the Rinker School of Business. He is majoring in finance.

Sarah Wilson of Johnston, Rhode Island, is the outstanding graduate of the School of Communication and Media. She is majoring in public relations.

Yanisa Reyes of Wellington is the outstanding graduate of the School of Education and Behavioral Studies. She is an elementary education major.

Kimberlyn Watson of West Palm Beach is the outstanding graduate of the MacArthur School of Leadership. She is majoring in organizational management.

Ryan Murray of South Portland, Maine, is the outstanding graduate of the School of Ministry. He is majoring in biblical studies.

Ashley Taylor of West Palm Beach is the outstanding graduate in the School of Music and Fine Arts. She is majoring in music education.

Sandra Kaider of Orlando, Florida, is the outstanding graduate for the Orlando campus. She is majoring in organizational management.

To be eligible for an Outstanding Graduate Award, the student must have a minimum 3.5 GPA based on 60 credits or more earned at PBA.

Also during the chapel service, graphic design major Jessica Carpenter of Milton, Delaware, received the art award from the School of Music and Fine Arts.

These students, along with more than 250 other graduates, will receive their degrees in a 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach. Wendy Spencer, CEO for the Corporation for National and Community Service, will be the featured speaker.
