Among Jesus’ greatest teachings is his commandment to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31). At Palm Beach Atlantic, we have taken this commandment to heart in many of our community-focused activities.
By way of extending that vision, PBA has engaged in a community partnership called
the Parker Avenue Consortium, which benefits the families living in the vicinity of
the Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus in West Palm Beach. The Parker Avenue
Consortium is a means to bring resources together to benefit kindergarten through
university students and their families, ultimately bringing a renewed vitality to

Through these and other relationships, Palm Beach Atlantic has a number of recent
and ongoing initiatives taking place in the neighborhood, which include STEM (science,
technology, engineering and mathematics) education for K-12 students, recreational
activities for children and their families, and collaborative community service projects
with PBA students and students attending Conniston Middle School and Forest Hill High
Parker Avenue Recognition:
PBA's Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus, which is bordered on the east by Parker Avenue, officially opened Sept. 4, 2014 (with some facilities still under construction). The campus includes a neighborhood park set aside for community use.
