The Palm Beach Atlantic men's soccer program has had many players sign professional contracts over the past few seasons, and recently added another to this list as goalkeeper John Hollinger signed to play for IFK Amal in Amal, Sweden. Hollinger was a member of the 2018 PBA men's soccer team that won the Sunshine State Conference and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

IFK Amal competes in the Swedish football league and currently plays in Division 3. Presently, Amal is at the top of the league and could be promoted to Division 2 at the end of the season.

"I would like to thank God for this opportunity and PBA for helping develop me as a Christian and helping develop my relationship with Christ," said Hollinger. "I am very grateful for my teammates and coaches who challenged me to become a better person and player every day from the standard that PBA soccer has."

Hollinger reported to Sweden this weekend to join his new team, which is currently at the midpoint of their 2018 season. They will return to play in two weeks as they will begin their qualifying for the Swedish Cup.
