University of Oxford Scholar, Mathematician John Lennox will speak in chapel on Monday, Oct. 8 and Tuesday, Oct. 9 in the DeSantis Family Chapel.
His message Monday will be based on his latest book, “Against the Flow” (2015), which looks at the lessons for today’s society that one can draw from the life of the biblical figure, Daniel. On Tuesday, Lennox will talk about his experience as a mathematical/scientific “Daniel” in Oxford.
Known for his writing on the interface between science, philosophy and theology, Lennox is a fellow in mathematics and the philosophy of science at Green Templeton College, Oxford. He is also an associate fellow of the Said Business School, Oxford University, and teaches for the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme. In addition, he is an adjunct lecturer at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University, and at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, as well as being a senior fellow of the Trinity Forum.
