Dear Generous PBA Alumni,
When I reflect upon my time at Palm Beach Atlantic University, my very best memories are of my friends whose lives were transformed by their experience. Now, as the Director of Alumni Relations, I am so blessed to daily encounter stories of alumni from all over the country and the world of how their lives have been impacted by our alma mater. PBA graduates are successful in all types of careers and journeys, and as God’s calling on your life unfolds, I believe PBA played a large role in shaping your future.
As we celebrate PBA’s 50th Anniversary year and approach 18,000 alumni there are reminders everywhere that this year’s theme for the University is “Dream!” The original dream, inspired by Matthew 19:26, was for a Christ-first university in the heart of West Palm Beach. Today, that dream is thriving, with PBA boldly serving our 3000+ students and our community.
The next 50 years will bring new challenges, especially for students who desire an education in a faith nurturing environment like PBA. Students are concerned about the affordability of college tuition and student debt. They want to have clear direction and the ability to get a good job after graduation. They also want to dream big and impact their communities and the world. When I attended PBA, I was blessed, just like most of you, to receive a significant amount of institutional aid which made it possible for me to fulfill my dream as a Sailfish.
In honor of PBA’s 50th Anniversary please consider making a gift to The Annual Scholarship Fund by joining The Blue and White Society with a minimum annual donation of $50 or more. The Blue and White Society is an honored group of alumni donors who receive special recognition and appreciation across campus and during University events.
