We offer a wide variety of scholarships and grants to help you make your dreams come true at PBA. Read to learn more.

Scholarships  and grants can go a long way to help cover educational expenses, and best of all they are awards that do not have to be repaid. PBA offers a variety of merit-based scholarships for academic excellence and talent in athletics, dance, music and theatre. Federal and State scholarships are also available to eligible students. Additionally, outside scholarships are a great resource for students who are planning for success.

Honors Scholarship

Eligibility: Full time day undergraduate with a 3.5 high school GPA (weighted) and either a 1270 SAT or 26 ACT. If the SAT was taken before March 1, 2016, a score of 1200 will be accepted.

PBA Assistance Award

Eligibility: Full time day undergraduate with exceptional financial need (as determined by PBA).

Deadline: Awarded automatically upon acceptance to PBA and receipt of the FAFSA.

PBA Dual Enrolled Scholarship

One student from each Dual Enrollment Program school will be awarded this non-transferable scholarship above and beyond other PBA financial aid and scholarships (not to exceed the cost of attendance).

Eligibility: A 3.8 unweighted GPA in PBA courses, completion of at least 2 dual enrollment courses from PBA, be an eligible graduating senior, and obtain acceptance to PBA for the fall term immediately following high school graduation.

PBA Alumni Scholarship

Eligibility: Full time day undergraduate who is related to a PBA alum.

Bebe Warren Schalorship

Eligibility: A student must have declared elementary education as a major and:

  •   Be an incoming Freshman with
    • A grade point average of at least 3.5 from high school.
    • A score of 1100 on the SAT and/or 22 on the ACT.
    • A passing score on all four sections of the General Knowledge Exam.

OR

  • Be an incoming Transfer student with
    • Have earned an Associate of Arts prior to enrollment.
    • A grade point average of at least 3.5 from college.
    • A passing score on all four sections of the General Knowledge Exam.

Renewable:  Awards will be $5,000 annually and are renewable, with $7,500 awarded during the student’s senior year

Developing Christian Leaders Scholarship

PBA has an exciting scholarship opportunity for incoming students who aspire to be leaders. This scholarship program requires attendance of a qualifying leadership experience along with additional training at PBA during your first year.

Eligibility: Incoming full time day undergraduate freshman and attendance of the Student Leadership University 101 course prior to enrollment. Students participating in athletic, talent (music, dance & theatre), or honors programs are not eligible due to conflicting co-curricular requirements.

Farish Scholars Program

Eligibility: To qualify, an applicant must have a 3.5 GPA, SAT test score of 1410 (ACT of 31), be an incoming freshman, a Florida resident, and exhibit extensive community involvement. This is a competitive scholarship that requires an in-person interview.

Deadline: January 30, 2019 for the 2019-20 school year

Allan W. and Barbara H. Ferrin Endowed Scholarship

Eligibility: To qualify, incoming freshman must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5, have a minimum SAT score of 1250 (or ACT score of 28) and major in either English, History, Political Science, Pre-Law or Philosophy.

Deadline: March 15, 2019 for the 2019-20 school year

Application: Allen W. and Barbara H. Ferrin Endowed Scholarship

Renewable: Yes, for up to 3 years as long as recipient remains in one of the designated majors and maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Endowed Scholarships

Palm Beach Atlantic University has been blessed by many philanthropic individuals and organizations with endowed scholarship funds. These funds have been appropriately invested to maximize the effectiveness in assisting students in reaching their academic endeavors. Currently the institution awards these funds primarily to our returning student population, recognizing academic excellence and financial need. Several endowed scholarship and grants have specific eligibility requirements and may require a separate application process. To apply, visit the Financial Aid Office and request an Endowed Scholarship Application starting March 1. The deadline for the 2018-19 school year is May 1.

Eligibility: Full time day undergraduate (seeking first degree in Education) with an eligible GPA. Students are required to teach in a high need field at a low-income school for four years post graduation. Student must have also successfully passed the First Screening process and have been formally accepted into the Education Program. Eligible education majors include Secondary Education/Mathematics and Elementary Education (with minor in Exceptional Student Education, Mathematics or Science).
