SUMMARY:2026 Faith and Culture Forum
DESCRIPTION:Reimagining Wholeness and Holiness: Disability\, Neurodivergence\, and the Church\nThe 2026 Faith and Culture Forum brings together scholars\, practitioners\, and community members to discuss disability\, neurodivergence\, and the church. The conference features keynote addresses from Dr. Grant McCaskill\, Lightfoot Professor of Divinity at Durham University\, Dr. Thomas Boehm\, Director of Wheaton Center for Faith and Disability at Wheaton College\, and Founder & Director of Faith for ALL\, and Dr. Benjamin Conner\, Professor of Practical Theology and Director of the Center for Disability and Ministry at Western Theological Seminary. \nIn addition to the keynotes\, the event will host paper panels and workshops with presentations from PBA students\, disability ministries\, and Dr. Lamar Hardwick\, the “Autism Pastor.”  These discussions aim to foster meaningful dialogue and offer practical resources for church and community leaders\, as well as individuals interested in the intersection of faith and disability. \nDuring the workshops and panel presentations\, local vendors and support services will be set up to share about the work they do to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers. Join us on the Baxter Green to engage with the excellent work of these local organizations. \nOn the evening of February 19\, we invite you to join us for an inclusive worship service led by PBA faculty\, staff\, and students. This will be an opportunity to engage insights from the day’s presentations and experience worship from new points of view. \nWe look forward to welcoming you to the 2026 Faith and Culture Forum: Reimagining Wholeness and Holiness. \nRegister Here \n   \n\nThe conference is a joint effort between PBA’s Community Transformation Center\, the School of Ministry  \n\n
