Counseling & Wellness is staffed with full-time licensed mental health professionals, and located at Oceanview Hall (next to the Campus Store) on 1000 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

The office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

All students attending our West Palm Beach campus are required to complete the health forms below. All forms must be submitted to the Counseling and Wellness Center prior to August 1 (for students starting in the spring semester the forms should be submitted prior to December 1). We also provide a New Student Check List to help you keep track of required forms.

Graduate, Evening, Pharmacy, DNP, Part-time, and Ph.D. students

• Immunization Form
• Physical Form (must be completed by a medical professional within the past 12 months)
• TB Clinical Assessment (only required if the student answered “yes” in any part of the TB Risk Screening Form)

Insurance

Palm Beach Atlantic University is pleased to offer students an affordable student health insurance plan. All UNDERGRADUATE students taking 9 or more credit hours, all full-time GRADUATE students taking 6 or more credit hours, and all Ph.D. students taking 3 or more credit hours. All International, Pharmacy, Nursing, and full-time Evening students are required to provide proof of current and acceptable health insurance coverage each academic year. These students are automatically enrolled and billed for the student health insurance plan. The insurance charge will only be removed if an approved waiver has been received by the deadline. Physical Health

Palm Beach Atlantic has launched a new telehealth program for students called Sailfish Health. The service will provide access to 24/7 medical and mental telehealth care, with no cost at the time of visit!
