Biography

Dr. Sylvester has had the opportunity to serve Palm Beach Atlantic University as an adjunct instructor since 2004 and was hired as a member of the full-time faculty in 2006. He has been a practicing physical therapist since 1987, and has owned and operated In-Town Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, located in Palm Beach, since 1993. Dr. Sylvester holds certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine as a certified cancer exercise trainer, and from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He is active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program, lecturing on injury prevention and marathon training. Dr. Sylvester resides in West Palm Beach with his two children, Elizabeth and Jack. He is very committed to Christ and is a parishioner at St. Juliana Catholic Church.
