Danilda Martinez is a video and multimedia producer, focusing on non-profit and small business storytelling in a documentary and editorial style. Through her production company, Datzi Media, Danilda has produced short films with local and international organizations such as The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County, the City of West Palm Beach Mayor’s Office, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches, Leadership Palm Beach County, Operation Mobilization, and Voice of the Martyrs. Prior to joining the full-time faculty, Danilda served as an adjunct professor at PBA while also on staff as producer of video and multimedia at Bankrate.com. During her time at Bankrate, Danilda produced editorial video and multimedia content with personal finance experts and celebrity influencers from around the country, and produced live news segments with major networks, including Fox, CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, and ABC. Most recently, Danilda has ventured into exploring virtual reality production and has co-founded a new start up, Immersive Spaces. In 2016 Danilda was invited to participate as a speaker and panelist at the National Association of Broadcasters Digital Media Symposium, sponsored by Lynda.com. Danilda’s love of storytelling is matched only by her passion for helping others discover their potential. The latter became evident while on staff at PBA’s Media Services Department, where she had the joy of working with college students to produce over 500 live-event and video productions each academic year. She constantly draws from this foundational experience of teaching production in a live setting, and is most proud of cultivating personal, creative, and professional growth among her young production crewmembers over the years.
