Audy Johnston became a full-time faculty member in 2007 after five years serving as an adjunct professor for the MacArthur School of Leadership. She has more than 30 years’ experience as a certified paralegal in various facets of the legal field and worked for many years at one of Florida’s premier law firms. She is recipient of the Alan E. Guskin Scholars Tuition Award recognizing an individual’s service to his/her community and the person’s contribution as a change agent consistent with the program’s mission. The scholarship funds will be used for her additional Ph.D. studies in leadership and change at Antioch University. She is a member of the International Leadership Association, Association of Adult and Community Educators, American Association for Adults and Continuing Education, Society for Human Resource Management, and the National Association of Legal Assistant. Her areas of expertise and interests include mentoring and sponsorship, leadership, women in leadership, cultural diversity, global management, ethics, adult learning, human resource development; Myers-Briggs type indicators, career development; and online education. In May of 2012 she re-visited the United Arab Emirates to continue her research of leadership challenges of women in the Gulf Region and United Arab Emirates.
