Geoff has been a chief financial officer for NYSE-listed public companies since 2005, focusing on the commercial real estate industry. He has worked at Capital Trust, Inc. (NYSE: CT), The Blackstone Group, LP (NYSE: BX), STAG Industrial, Inc. (NYSE: STAG), and, most recently, iStar, Inc. (NYSE: STAR). During his tenure on Wall Street, Geoff's responsibilities included finance, accounting, treasury, capital markets, compliance, human resources, technology, and operations. His capital markets experience includes: (a) raising over $1.5 billion in follow-on public equity offerings, (b) securing over $20 billion in public and private debt and hybrid capital, (c) structuring and raising over $3 billion in private equity capital, (d) restructuring over $1.0 billion in debt for Capital Trust post financial crisis, and (e) completing two initial public offerings (IPOs) with over $900 million in gross proceeds. Geoff is working on starting a company in the car wash industry in South Florida. His other interests include triathlons, fly fishing, government/politics, golf, and tennis. Geoff is a member of Columbia Business School's real estate advisory board. He lives in West Palm Beach, has four children, and is a member of the Saint John's Episcopal Church.
