Dr. Harrington has a broad range of experience in pharmacy including founding ownership of a compounding-only pharmacy, vice president in a pharmacy benefit management firm, and senior vice president in a Washington, D.C. based healthcare consultancy. She also has extensive managerial experience obtained as an officer in the U.S. Navy from which she retired in 1997.  Dr. Harrington taught in both the professional (Pharm.D.) and graduate (Ph.D) programs at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Pharmacy from 2009-2016.  Courses taught included pharmacy and the health care system, pharmaceutical marketing, pharmacy management, public health, research design, and scientific writing.  Her current research interests include topics in the fields of psychiatry, addiction, chronic care, and self-care. She has more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed medical and pharmacy journals. Dr. Harrington joined Gregory School of Pharmacy at PBA in 2017. She believes that the practice of pharmacy is a ministry and the healing power of Christ is manifest in the skill and service provided by all health professionals.
