Dr. Axtell joins the faculty of the Gregory School of Pharmacy after completing a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the Gregory School of Pharmacy. This residency involved training in both inpatient and outpatient settings throughout Palm Beach County. During this time, she obtained a teaching certificate and conducted research regarding inhaler technique education. Dr. Axtell is excited to utilize her training and community pharmacy experience to serve her students and, more importantly, honor her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dr. Axtell is an active member of the American Pharmacist Association (APhA), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI), the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and Rho Chi honor society. She also was named the outstanding graduate of the Class of 2013 and received the Servant Leader Award.
