Committed to meeting the needs of modern residential students, PBA is erecting a new 163,000-square-foot, eight-story residence hall.
Located at the corner of South Dixie Highway and Pembroke Place, the new residence hall will be convenient to the core of the PBA campus and to West Palm Beach entertainment and dining venues such as Rosemary Square and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. PBA’s entire 29-acre downtown campus is convenient to the beautiful West Palm Beach waterfront and within easy walking distance of Atlantic beaches.
When completed in the summer of 2020, the structure will consist of 154 one- and two-bedroom units with double occupancy accommodations for 510 beds. It will be apartment-style living with full kitchens. There will a community room and private study space on each floor.
“The University is responding to student requests for additional campus housing along with more amenities built into the new residence,” University President William M. B. Fleming, Jr. said. “The growing interest in campus residency corresponds with research that shows living on campus helps students succeed at higher levels both academically and in their development as young adults.”
The new residence hall will benefit PBA and our students in the following ways:
The new residence hall is being built by and in partnership with Hedrick Brothers Construction of West Palm Beach.
