The show will feature a range of perspectives on dance from tap to hip-hip and from modern to ballet danced by 28 promising young artists from Palm Beach Atlantic University’s exciting dance program.

Perspectives showcases six works, five new works by veteran choreographers Victor Trevino, Risselle Portuondo, Larry Albright, Demetrius Klein, and a first time offering by outstanding graduate Anastasia Keating.  The show will end with Jon Lehrer’s critically acclaimed piece, Rhapsody.

More about the featured guest choreographer, Jon Lehrer:

Jon Lehrer is the featured guest choreographer bringing his piece Rhapsody to the Rinker Playhouse stage. Jon has danced with the Erick Hawkins Dance Company, Paul Sanasardo, John Passafiume Dancers, in Merv Griffin's "Funderful" and the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. In 1997, Jon was hired by Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, and was promoted to Associate Director. During his ten years with Giordano, Jon also became the resident choreographer, creating seven original works on the company that received rave reviews all around the world.  In July 2007, Jon began his much anticipated professional dance company, showcasing his unique choreography and definitive style.  Jon's extensive background in both the modern and jazz dance idioms fosters choreography that is organic, artistic, accessible and often humorous, reflecting life experience and the human condition.
