Business students

Welcome From the DeanBrian Strow

Thank you for visiting the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. School of Business at Palm Beach Atlantic University. We are delighted that you are interested in our many programs and offerings.
Since assuming the role of Dean in 2020, I have been happy to steward our school across two major areas of business and societal impact: the promotion of ethically-based free enterprise and the integration of faith-based business practices into our communities. As someone who has dedicated my personal and professional career to these two important principles, I am enthusiastic about seeing them increasingly realized at the Rinker School of Business. For the 550-plus students, and thousands of alumni who have passed through our hallways since 1968, we continue to heartily reinforce these themes during times in which they are most needed.
Continuous development was a life-principle for Mr. Rinker, and our school is committed to that example. Since 2017, we have added 15 new faculty members to our ranks. Over 90 percent of them are terminally degreed in their field of specialization, with impressive research backgrounds and diverse practical experience in industry and consulting. Related to quality standards, the Rinker School of Business achieved accreditation through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) in 2000, along with two subsequent reaffirmations of accreditation. In November 2021, the AACSB Initial Accreditation Committee reviewed and accepted our second Progress Report and recommended that we move forward to the next stage of the process and prepare for a visit from the AACSB's Peer Review Team. Complete alignment with the AACSB standards further enhances the Rinker School of Business and empowers students.
Strategically located in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach, we are in one of the nation’s fastest growing business communities; particularly since the COVID-19 outbreak. Increasingly known as “Wall Street South,” Palm Beach county continues to attract exceptional business growth in one of America’s most beautiful waterfront cities. There has never been a better time to be in South Florida.
Please take the time to explore our website and learn more about our growing number of undergraduate and graduate offerings.
