PBA Symphony

The PBA Symphony is a full symphony orchestra composed of 60 students as well as semi-professional players that present five concerts annually.

The PBA Symphony is a full symphony orchestra made up of 60 students and local semi-professional players that present six concerts annually. This ensemble is committed to performing the finest standard repertoire available including works by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Mahler, Shostakovich, Sibelius, etc. The ensemble also actively seeks to perform contemporary American music such as Ives, Copland, Gershwin, Hovhaness, Myaskovsky, Bowles, Lachert and Diamond. The PBA Symphony is under the direction of Dr. Lloyd Mims.
