I Will Shakespeare is a Tuesday masterclass series designed especially for homeschoolers meeting once-a-week culminating in a 60-90 minute Shakespearian production at the end of each semester. These courses are designed to give youth in the Palm Beach/ Martin County area's access and availability to explore the rich and empowering techniques in both comprehending and playing Shakespeare's theatrical works and poetry.

REFUND POLICY
In its sole and absolute discretion, Palm Beach Atlantic University may withdraw a class or camp participant for any reason. If Palm Beach Atlantic University withdraws a class or camp participant a pro-rated refund of camp tuition fees will be granted for the period after the withdrawal. If class or camp participant is voluntarily withdrawn after a camp begins by a parent or guardian no refund will be granted. If Palm Beach Atlantic University cancels a class or camp due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund of tuition fees will be granted.

Students will be provided a 12-week intensive on how to transpose Shakespeare’s words from the page to the stage. Building knowledge, comprehension and application of the dramatic literature form of time’s most respected playwrights.
Seeing Shakespeare : Students will be introduced to Shakespeare's style of writing and acquire the necessary skills in comprehending, analyzing and applying both poetry and prose to the practice of stage performance.
Speaking Shakespeare : Students will build upon their natural speaking voice, and learn the full range of the vocal instrument, discovering Shakespeare's characters through speech empowerment, while working on one of his theatrical works.
Playing Shakespeare : Students will be cast in a Shakespearian production and will present a 60 to 90-minute staged performance at the culmination of the semester.
Students will participate in an additional 12 week Shakespearian intensive with the objective of producing a fully realized 60 to 90-minute adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Students will build upon their foundational understanding from the first semester of playing Shakespeare’s language, and gain a supplemental knowledge of how to balance classical and modern styles of acting.

Kyle Schnack is an award winning actor, director and theatre educator. Holding residence
as an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Palm Beach Atlantic University, he is passionate
about seeking opportunities to develop and advance theatre arts in Palm Beach County.
Kyle is the artistic director of “I Will Shakespeare,” ACA Theatre and PBA Summer
Reparatory Theatre, is a professional actor and member of the Actor’s Equity Association,
and serves as an adjudicator for the Kravis Center Dream Awards and the Palm Beach
Post Pathfinder Awards, in addition to contributing to the Secondary Scholarship Committee
at the Southeastern Theatre Conference. Kyle seeks to better his community by provision
of empowerment, enrichment and enjoyment through the theatre arts.
