Our Musical Theatre Production Saturday classes focus on learning all the elements required to put on a show. Students will be immersed in performance technique and theatre appreciation culminating in a fully-produced production at PBA’s Fern Street Theatre.
This rock ‘n’ roll musical follows the journey of Ren as he and his mother move from Chicago to the small town of Bomont, crippled by a recent tragedy. Ren discovers Bomont’s minister has instituted a ban on dancing. As Ren tries to adjust to the small farming town and convince the Reverend to let teenagers dance, the town begins to heal. Footloose is bursting with high energy, 80’s dance music while ultimately revealing a story of redemption.
