There are a number of distinctive aspects that set our programs apart. You’ll benefit greatly from the redeptive storytelling that is woven throughout all of our programs and curricula. You’ll be able to take part in a number of student-led theatre productions and produce films that will premiere at our annual student film festival. You can write for The Beacon, our digital-only campus news organization. And you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your skills through honor societies and student clubs.
In the School of Communication & Media you’ll be taught, mentored and guided by faculty who have achieved the highest levels of accomplishment in their fields. Our faculty have productions featured at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as HBO and Showtime. They’ve toured with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Served as casting director for shows such as Miami Vice and B.L. Stryker. And earned numerous awards in journalism, photography and page design.
