2023 PBA Hispanic Heritage Festival
The Palm Beach Atlantic University Hispanic Heritage Festival is a celebration of the Iberian-American cultural heritage through a display of art music and poetry from various countries. It was founded by Estibaliz Gastesi and Márcio Bezerra, who now serve as executive producers of the festival. In recent years, an academic conference has been added to the event, featuring scholarly papers and lecture recitals presented by an international group of faculty. Past featured performers include Alfonso Lopez, Michelle Tabor, Caio Pagano, Delray String Quartet, Roberto Capochi, Lindsay Garritson, Leonardo and Ana Lucia Altino, Sonia Santiago, Justin Rubin, Shtrykov-Tanaka Duo, Duo Brasiliana, Jureit Musicales, Jonathan Borja, Zaray Rodriguez Rossi, and Martin Camacho. The Sunday afternoon performance of the internationally acclaimed Duo Gastesi-Bezerra, with Spanish and Latin-American poetry readings, remains a favorite part of the festival.
Registration is now open for the Festival. We will begin at 5 p.m. with Registration on Friday, followed by a welcome reception at 6 p.m., and continue through Sunday afternoon with a closing concert from our guest artist wrapping up around 2 p.m.
