As a music minor, you’ll be exposed to a variety of musical styles and be trained in a range of music competencies. Students gain a thorough grounding in the literature and materials of music, including opportunities for performance experience, within the traditional, broad-based liberal arts curriculum. You’ll be nurtured in an environment where traditional musical studies find common ground with the liberal arts and practical demands of the music profession in a community of shared Christian values.

Complete 24 credit hours of music theory, aural skills, songwriting, and other courses (usually requiring at least six semesters) for an undergraduate minor in popular music. See the undergraduate catalog for more.
