Set Yourself Apart

The ability to write effectively is a skill that can set you apart from others no matter what your professional discipline may be. Our Writing Center is designed to help you develop and strengthen your writing skills through a broad range of services. You’ll get honest appraisals of your writing as well as actionable feedback and tools to improve your writing, analytical and critical thinking skills. Services include:

  • One-on-one coaching
  • Grammar, punctuation and syntax
  • Topic selection and thesis development
  • Pre-writing, writing, proofreading and revisions

All About You

Our facilities and resources are offered with one thing in mind—your success. The Orlando Campus library provides extensive online resources, books and research materials, and you’ll also have access to the Warren Library on our West Palm Beach Campus. We have two computer labs open daily to help students conduct research, write, watch videos, access canvas and check your email and MyPBA email accounts. You can access our campus-wide wireless network with your laptop or tablet. And you’ll find several study rooms for individual and group work, as well as informal study areas throughout the facilities.

  • Resume Assistance—we’ll help format, craft, review and critique your resume before it goes out to potential employers.
  • Mock Interviews—we’ll take you through the interview process and help sharpen your skills at answering all of the questions you may encounter.
  • Handshake—we’ll help you navigate online career opportunities at Handshake, an online job posting portal where employers can find your resume.
