Musical Theatre Production Class, Fall Session 

Our Musical Theatre Production Saturday classes focus on learning all the elements required to put on a show. Students will be immersed in performance technique and theatre appreciation culminating in a fully-produced production at PBA’s Fern Street Theatre.

About the Show

Follow the adventures of Arendelle’s Princesses Elsa and Anna in Disney’s Frozen JR as they discover the strength of love between two sisters. Filled with magic and wit your heart will be warmed with its’ delightful songs and beloved characters.

Class Details

  • Cost: $450
  • Fall Session Class Dates: Saturday Rehearsals* | Aug 17 – Dec 7| 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

       *No rehearsals on Aug 31, Sep 28, Nov 16 and Nov 30

          Tech Week | Sat, Dec 14 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) & Mon, Dec 16 – Wed, Dec 18 (4 p.m. to 7 p.m.)

  • Performances:
    • Thu, Dec 19 at 7:30 p.m.
    • Fri, Dec 20 at 7:30 p.m.
    • Sat, Dec 21 at 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

  • Production Calendar: Please consult the Production Calendar for auditions, rehearsals, tech rehearsals, and performance dates. All participants must be able to attend all required dates. We are unable to excuse absences for any of the rehearsals.

Katie Frederickson is privileged to help enrich the lives of young people through the arts. She has worked in various capacities as director, stage manager and actor for companies such as Actor's Playhouse, CMT, StoryMaker's and Palm Beach Opera. A graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, she is proud to be a part of their mission to tell redemptive stories that have a positive impact on the students as well as the community.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS
In the event of an accident or illness, I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact a parent/guardian immediately. However, if I am unavailable, I authorize the PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY CHILDREN’S THEATRE staff to secure emergency medical care for my child as needed. Although I understand that PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERISTY CHILDREN’S THEATRE will make every reasonable effort to provide a safe environment, I am fully aware of the special dangers and risks inherent in participating in theatre arts, which may include physical injury or other consequences arising or resulting from the program. Being fully aware of these risks, I hereby consent to my child’s participation in this program and agree to hold the PALM BEACH ATLANTICU UNIVERSITY and PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNVIERSITY CHILDREN’S THEATRE staff harmless in any event.

PHOTO/VIDEO/RECORDING CONSENT AND RELEASE 

I, the undersigned, am the parent or guardian of my minor child named below, with full authority, herein to give this legally-binding Release to Palm Beach Atlantic University, Inc. (“PBA”), individually and on behalf of my minor child. For valuable consideration received, I, individually and on behalf of my minor child, hereby consent to and authorize PBA, and those acting pursuant to its authority, to:

(a) Record my likeness and voice on a video, audio, photographic, digital, electronic or any other medium. (b) Use my name in connection with these recordings. (c) Publish, re-publish, adapt, exploit, exhibit, perform, reproduce, edit, modify, make derivative works, distribute, display or otherwise use or re-use in any medium including, but not limited to, print publications, video tapes, DVD, CD-ROM, Internet/WWW, these recordings for any purpose that PBA, and those acting pursuant to its authority, deem appropriate, including, but not limited to, promotional or advertising efforts.

I release PBA and those acting pursuant to its authority from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right I may have in connection with such use. I understand that all such recordings, in whatever medium, shall remain the property of PBA. I represent and warrant that I am the parent or legal guardian of my minor child and am fully competent and authorized to execute this Release. I have read and fully understand the terms of this Release.

REFUND POLICY

In its sole and absolute discretion, Palm Beach Atlantic University may withdraw a class or camp participant for any reason. If Palm Beach Atlantic University withdraws a class or camp participant a pro-rated refund of camp tuition fees will be granted for the period after the withdrawal. If class or camp participant is voluntarily withdrawn after a camp begins by a parent or guardian no refund will be granted. If Palm Beach Atlantic University cancels a class or camp due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund of tuition fees will be granted.
