Palm Beach Atlantic University Men’s Soccer Overview
The Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) men’s soccer team, known as the Sailfish, competes in NCAA Division II as part of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC), which is recognized as one of the most competitive conferences in Division II soccer.
In the 2023 season, the Sailfish recorded an overall record of 6-8-2, with a conference record of 3-6-1. For the 2024 season, the team showed improvement, posting a record of 6-5-3 as of the latest available results. The Sailfish have demonstrated resilience, securing notable wins against teams like Barry, Florida Southern, and Embry-Riddle, and earning draws against strong opponents such as Alabama-Huntsville and Flagler.
The PBA men’s soccer team has a history of success, including being crowned the 2015 NCAA South Region Champions. The program regularly features players who receive individual honors, as evidenced by recent league awards voted on by conference coaches.
PBA emphasizes a strong sense of community and competition, with student-athletes encouraged to pursue excellence both on and off the field. The team plays its home games at the Rinker Athletic Campus, a 78-acre facility that supports all of the university’s athletic programs. The Sailfish are known for their spirited approach and commitment to teamwork, representing the university’s values through their athletic and academic pursuits.
