Rinker Center for Experiential Learning

rinkerIt’s Your World

The Rinker Center for Experiential Learning will provide you with life-changing opportunities to travel the world and broaden your perspective on learning and life. Whether you spend an entire semester abroad, take part in a service trip taking your faith around the world or travel as part of an individual course, these are powerful experiences that can, and do, change lives forever.

Go the Distance

Through our Study Abroad program you’ll be able to spend an entire semester living and learning in any of more than 20 destinations. Some of the most popular locations include:

  • Amman, Jordan
  • Cape Town, South Africa
  • Dunedin, New Zealand
  • Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Florence, Italy
  • London, England
  • Oxford, England
  • Rome, Italy
  • Armenia, Colombia

Spread Your Faith

Serve Abroad trips will take you into communities across the globe where you can serve as a force for positive change. You may find yourself ministering to local groups, mentoring and working with children, providing essential healthcare services or helping to create necessary resources such as schools and access to clean water.

Learn By Doing

We offer Class Abroad trips regularly, which are courses for academic credit that include a travel component. These opportunities are offered on a rotating basis by PBA’s various schools. Recent programs that have participated include biology, business, education, biblical and theological studies and history.

A Community Endeavor

Along with students, PBA faculty and staff also have regular opportunities for international travel. For those taking advantage of Faculty and Staff Abroad offerings, PBA provides comprehensive support in logistics, travel insurance and medical insurance to ensure the most stress-free and streamlined experience possible.

The Center has sent 2,000 PBA individuals to countries around the world since 2011.

After completing 60 credit hours students can take part in study abroad.

You can meet with Rinker Center staff 1:1 to discuss study abroad opportunities.
