Dr. Jonathan Grenz, a veteran of more than 25 years of leading and consulting non-profit organizations, is the dean of the MacArthur School of Leadership. His Ph.D. in educational leadership focused on the leadership formation, team development and non-profit voluntarism.
Prior to his appointment to the deanship, he served as director of a PBA graduate program and assistant director of the Center for Experiential Learning (PBA’s study abroad department). Grenz has a passion for mentoring and equipping emerging leaders with the knowledge, skills and character necessary to thrive in leadership. He also enjoys serving organizations in transition, as well as strengthening teams. Leadership formation, innovation and organizational change are some of his main interests of research.
Grenz serves as the president of the We Are Life board of directors, a foundation making a major impact in the lives of people in Colombia by providing them with resources for evangelism, ministry, education, enterprise, health care, and social work.
He and his wife, Susan, are the parents of Jesse and Phoebe, who are both graduates of PBA.
