Florida residents Lisa Nyman of Jupiter and Whitney Smith of Punta Gorda have been selected to receive Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Women of Distinction scholarships. Proceeds from the 23rd Women of Distinction luncheon on Feb. 19, which will honor Susie Elson and Nancy Murray, provide scholarships for outstanding female students at Palm Beach Atlantic.

The students, who were selected based on their academic achievements and community involvement, will deliver the welcome and invocation at the event held at The Breakers, Palm Beach.
