Biography
Allen McCoy has been acting, directing, producing and teaching for over 30 years. As a member of AEA, he has held acting contracts with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The Court Theatre, Indiana Repertory, Drury Lane Theatre, First Stage Milwaukee, Boarshead Theatre, Orlando Repertory, Universal Studios and the Walt Disney World Resort. He has held the artistic director position for Circle Theatre Company in Orlando, FL and the Timestep Players in Chicago, IL. He has served as director of education at both the North Carolina Theatre in Raleigh, NC, and the Ocala Civic Theatre in Ocala, FL. He has directed over 40 productions and has served as production manager, fight choreographer and movement coach for numerous others. Prior to joining Palm Beach Atlantic, Allen taught theatre at Seminole State College and the University of Central Florida. He has been married to Tracy McCoy for over 20 years and they are blessed with two wonderful daughters, Jesse Linn and Jenna Lee.
