Our Athletic Training major helps you work toward the successful completion of a bachelor of science degree with a concentration in Exercise Science. The program is designed to provide you with:

• knowledge of the prevention, assessment, acute care and rehabilitation of orthopaedic injuries
• organization and administration of a sports medicine facility
• professional development opportunities
• preparation for the Board of Certification (BOC) national examination

We equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to be both competent and confident in all aspects of the care and management of the injured or ill athlete. Our program is designed to integrate the classroom knowledge and interaction with on- and off-campus clinical education while the developing a Christ-centered attitude in providing health care.

PBA's School of Education and Behavioral Studies also offers a major in Physical Education. In addition, PBA's Rinker School of Business offers a major and minor in Sport Management, for those who are interested in sports-related communications, special events and facilities management.
