President
President William M.B. Fleming, Jr. is well known in Florida and in higher education circles nationwide. He joined Palm Beach Atlantic in 1992 as vice president of development. Previously he served in several administrative roles at Wingate University and Guilford College, both in North Carolina.
President Fleming was elected 8th president of Palm Beach Atlantic University on May 7, 2012, after serving as interim president for the previous 14 months.
Provost
Dr. Joseph A. Kloba was appointed PBA’s provost and chief academic officer on Aug. 1, 2003. Prior to that, Dr. Kloba was PBA’s associate provost and also served as the director of the graduate counseling psychology program and as a professor of psychology. He oversees a staff of 165 full-time and 120 part-time faculty. Dr. Kloba is part of PBA’s Administrative Cabinet, which offers counsel and support to the president.
