The PBA Difference
Our Commitment to Service
You have a desire to impact the world. So does PBA. That’s why you’ll be asked to seek out causes close to your heart and volunteer with nonprofits in your area of passion (45 hours a year are required). As part of “Workship,” our extensive community service program, our students have contributed more than 2 million volunteer hours over the years. In fact, for the past six years the Corporation for National and Community Service has placed PBA on its Honor Roll for exemplary service to America’s communities.
Our Supportive Community
When you become a part of PBA, you become a part of a family — a family that includes students from more than 40 nations; a family that includes faculty who go beyond imparting knowledge to imparting wisdom. From day one, you’ll feel the support and encouragement of faculty, staff and your fellow students.
Our Tropical Location
PBA’s location along Florida’s Gold Coast in West Palm Beach, Florida, provides the ultimate environment for living and learning. You’ll be within walking distance to breathtaking beaches and Fortune 500 companies. Our location offers you access to culture, professional opportunities and fun.
Our Learning Philosophy
PBA goes beyond preparing you to earn a degree. Here, you’ll be prepared for a life of leadership, service and faith. Our graduates will tell you they wouldn’t be where they are without PBA. Someday, we know you’ll say the same.
Our Preparation for Life
No matter which of our more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs you choose, you’ll learn in a Christ-centered environment from dedicated men and women of faith who are dedicated to your success. You’ll enhance what you learn in the classroom through real-world experiences, such as internships, “Workship,” study abroad and research opportunities.
Our Focus on Faith
We believe PBA is the top Christian college in Florida. While we welcome students of all faiths and those still seeking their spiritual path, Christ is at the center of all we do — from curriculum to mission trips, athletics teams to student organizations. Your education at PBA will help you to strengthen your Christian faith, making you better able to be His hands and feet in this world.
Speaking of PBA...
“Everyone has a worldview, a framework through which we experience the world and make choices about our lives. Faculty at Palm Beach Atlantic University share a distinctive Christian worldview with their students in addition to examining other worldviews that may impact the content of the various academic disciplines. While some universities teach about the material and intellectual only, we explore the material, intellectual and spiritual aspects of education.”
