Palm Beach designer Kristen Alyce and Florida native artist Sarah LaPierre have combined their skill and passion to launch VIVRE Canvas Couture, a luxurious new high-end collection of handmade, hand painted couture gowns and accessories. Their Palm Beach Collection, and the brand as a whole, launched last September during Couture Fashion Week New York.
Each handmade gown, cocktail dress, bow tie, purse and pair of shoes represents the life and experience on the luscious tropical island of Palm Beach. Each item is carefully crafted of fine artist canvas and linen, and entirely hand painted. Each garment, made from 100 percent canvas and covered in thick bodied acrylic paint, requires a minimum of five fittings, and takes anywhere from eight to 80 hours to create from start to finish.
Event sponsors currently include Beautyfool Hair Studio, Sabadell Bank & Trust, Mandy & Justin Girard and Frances Fisher. Attire prizes sponsored by Annah Wolf from Tanya Moss Jewelry. Raffle prizes sponsored by Tyrene Petriello Morgans from Lilly Pulitzer at The Breakers. For more information about sponsorship, contact Maria O’Carroll at (561) 803-2016.
