Brendan Lynch '03 MBA
Brendan Lynch, agent and an owner of The Plastridge Insurance Agency with offices in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Stuart, serves on the board of directors of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and is on the boards of several local organizations.
Lynch majored in economics and minored in Spanish at East Carolina University. He received his MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic in 2003. His community involvements include serving as a board member for 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, director for the Florida Association of Insurance Agents, North County Executive Council member for 1st United Bank and board member of PBC Credit Union. He also is a state-authorized continuing education instructor for insurance courses.
Lynch is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County, and he served as past chairman of Future Florida Insurance Leaders. Lynch and his wife, Lisa, live in Lake Worth and are the parents of Aidan, 7, and Liam, 4.
Priscilla Taylor '99 MBA
Commissioner Taylor is a native Floridian, born and raised in Fort Pierce. She currently resides in West Palm Beach, where she first was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in November 2004 and re-elected twice as the District 84 representative. She brought to the House more than 25 years of business experience in the insurance industry.
Commissioner Taylor served as Democratic Whip for the 2004-2006 term and Speaker Pro Tem designee for the 2008-2010 terms. Prior to being elected to the Florida House, Commissioner Taylor was a twice-elected member of the Port of Palm Beach District Commission. During her tenure, she served as chairwoman in both 2001 and 2003.
She has received numerous business and civic awards recognizing her outstanding service to the community, and she has been involved in a number of public service organizations. Before earning her M.B.A., Commissioner Taylor received her undergraduate degree from Barry University.
Dr. Thorne Donnelly '98 MBA
Dr. Thorne Donnelley serves as a role model for up-and-coming entrepreneurs. He owns nine Liberty Tax Service stores in the West Palm Beach area, and has a goal of opening more each year. He has received certification from the IRS as a certified acceptance agent and enrolled agent. He also is chairman of Palm Beach Maritime Foundation Ranger Project, an effort to build a replica of the USS Ranger, which under the command of John Paul Jones became the first American naval vessel to engage, capture and sink British warships in the Revolutionary War. He previously has owned and managed several successful businesses in Florida, Iowa and California and he is a former adjunct faculty member at Palm Beach Atlantic. Dr. Donnelley earned a DBA from Nova Southeastern University in 2004.
