Residency Program

Pharmacy Residencies
Palm Beach Atlantic University's (PBA) PGY-1 prepares you to become pharmacists and servant leaders within the profession.

This program is designed to provide a solid foundation in patient-centered care, while focusing on fostering personal and professional leadership. Emphasis is placed on:

  • Critical thinking
  • Pedagogy
  • Time management
  • Collaborative care
  • Clinical site development
  • Communication

It is our goal as preceptors to nurture residents in their knowledge, skills, commitment and insight. We are preparing pharmacy clinicians for any of the following: patient care positions, academia and PGY-2.

Instructional Design and Organization
The PBA post-graduate year one pharmacy residency is divided into eight core training themes. Diverse activities have been designed within each core training theme to ensure maximal learning opportunities.
