General Information

Q: What are the hours of the Rinker Athletic Campus?
A: General Facility 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Monday thru Saturday; 1 – 9 p.m., Sunday
Individual field usage is subject to availability.

Q: Do I need my ID to enter the facility?
A: Yes, all faculty, staff, students, and Greene Complex Members will need to present their PBA ID to Campus Safety at the front gate. Each individual in the vehicle will need to show ID, as well.

Q: Are there multiple entrances?
A: No, there is only one entrance and exit off Parker Avenue on the east side of the complex.

Q: Where do I park?
A: There are a total of over 280 parking spots throughout the entire complex.

Q: If I do not have a car, how do I get to a PBA athletics or my intramural game?
A: A mini-bus will be provided out to the games when scheduled. Please check the shuttle times with the Greene Complex front desk or on myPBA under Campus Recreation.

Q: Are pets allowed on the premises?
A: No, pets are NOT allowed.

Q: Why do the lights have to be off at 9pm?
The City Covenant between West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Atlantic University requires us to have the lights off at 9 p.m. for recreation purposes.

Q: When will the sand courts and basketball courts be finished?
The completion date has not been established.


Field Usage/Tennis Courts

Q: If I’m a student, can I use the intramural field whenever I want?
A: Yes, subject to availability schedule and posted operating hours.   

Q: How do I reserve the fields?
A: The recreation fields cannot be reserved. If it is available, then you will be able to use it. A schedule will be posted online each day with the field availability.

Q: Whom do I contact for more information about field availability?
A: You can contact the Campus Recreation Department located in the Greene Complex at 561-803-2334 with any questions regarding the Rinker Athletic Campus.

Q: Can I use the WPB city fields if the Rinker Athletic Campus is not available?
A: Yes, you can use the fields, but at your own risk. Standard West Palm Beach Park Rules and Guidelines apply.

Q: Who can use the tennis courts and when are they open?
A: Tennis courts are available for faculty, staff, and student play based on availability (outside of varsity practice/match time). Court hours and availability can be found at under Campus Recreation or the Palm PBA. No vehicular traffic to the tennis courts until construction surrounding the courts is complete.

Q: Will there be equipment available to check-out and where is that located?
A: Until further notice, please stop over at the Greene Complex to rent out equipment. In the future, you will be able to check out equipment at the fields with the Campus Recreation Staff.

Q: What footwear is appropriate on the fields?
A: Non-metal cleats are permitted on the recreational fields. Non-marking tennis shoes are permitted on the courts. Shoes that mark the courts are NOT allowed.

Q: What procedure do I follow if I want to host a campus event on the property?
A: Please contact Mary Ward at or (561) 803-2013 for any non-PBA rentals.


Q: What do I do if an emergency arises at the Rinker Athletic Campus?
A: Call 911 if an immediate injury occurs. If you notice a suspicious person, please contact Campus Safety at 561-803-2500. You can also download the Rave Guardian app sponsored by Campus Safety that reports injuries directly to EMS. Rave Guardian can be downloaded from the app store or by visiting

Q: Will a First-Aid kit be on site?
A: A First-Aid kit and ice will be provided on-site during intramurals and sporting events. The Campus Safety guard house also has a First-Aid kit and an AED.  

Q: Where do I go in a lightning storm?
A: In the case of inclement weather, please shelter in your car or the shuttle van and only drive if safe to do so.


Athletic Events

Q: Do I have to pay if I am attending a Sailfish athletic event?
A: If you present a valid PBA ID, your admission is free to any athletic event. All other attendees will need to pay after entering the main gate.

Q: Do guests have to pay for a Sailfish athletic event?
A: Yes, adults are $5, students 12-18 years old pay $3, and anyone under 12 is admitted for FREE when accompanied by an adult.

Q: Will the practice fields be open during Sailfish game days?
A: No, the fields will be closed unless there is a scheduled intramural game.

Q:  Am I allowed to tailgate before games?
A: Yes, but please use the designated parking and refer to Campus guidelines for details. Glass bottles and propane are not permitted.

Q: Am I allowed to bring outside food or drinks?
A: Yes, however, PBA policies and guidelines still apply.



Q: Do we provide a Rinker Athletic Campus membership add-on?
A: Yes, the total membership will be $1,000 for the combo pack ($600 for the Greene Complex plus a $400 Rinker Athletic Campus add-on). This will include access to intramural fields, tennis courts and recreational facilities, when completed. However, availability may be limited. You can purchase or update your membership at the Greene Complex front desk.

Q: Does my membership give me free admission to sporting events?
A: Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to support our Sailfish Athletic teams.    

Q: Is there a tennis only membership price?
A: A tennis membership will be available for purchase once the additional seven courts are completed.
Q: Do guests have to pay to use the Rinker Athletic Campus?
A: Yes, all guests must check in at the Greene Complex front desk, sign a waiver form, and pay the $5 daily usage fee. Guests must be accompanied by a PBA member at all times while using the facility. The pass will grant your guest full access to the Rinker Athletic Campus, as well as, the Greene Complex facility.

Q: Are minors allowed to use the Rinker Athletic Campus?
A: Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
