Candidate Evaluation Criteria:

Each candidate's qualifications will be judged according to the following criteria:

1. Your materials are received by program director no later than January 8.
2. Anticipated graduation from accredited school of pharmacy prior to start of residency.
3. Demonstration of strong commitment to pursuing servant-leadership role in our profession.
4. Likelihood of assimilating well into PBA environment based on character, maturity and attitude.
5. Strong foundation in therapeutics and pharmacology.
6. Evaluation of critical thinking through therapeutic questions.
7. Effective application of pharmacotherapy knowledge as evident by advanced practice rotations.
8. Initiative and effort in extra-curricular activities.
9. Strong verbal and non-verbal communication.
10. Membership or initiating membership in FSHP or ASHP.
11. Evaluation of presentation on campus.
     

Application Requirements:

To be considered as a candidate for the pharmacy practice residency, you are required to submit the following items to the program director on or before January 8.

1. Letter of intent (please include an email address)
2. Three letters of recommendation
3. An official transcript of all course work completed in the professional pharmacy curriculum
4. Current curriculum vitae

 If all qualifications are met, you will be contacted by the residency director to arrange an on-site interview.  If you are selected for an interview, you will be asked to present a 20-30 minute presentation. This can be a repeat of a clerkship presentation or project of your choice.  Please ensure your application is received on or before January 8.
