Completed in 2002, Oceanview is the newest residence hall on campus. Oceanview Hall accommodates freshman, transfer and returning men on one wing of the hall and freshman, transfer and returning women on the other wing of the hall.

Oceanview Residence Hall shares a building with the Dixie Parking Garage. With a spacious lobby and reception area on the first floor and two levels of housing on the sixth and seventh floors, Oceanview is an extremely attractive place to live. Nearly half of the bedrooms in the hall overlook campus with a view of the Intracoastal Waterway and even the ocean on the horizon. Oceanview Hall also provides game and meeting rooms, lounge areas, laundry facilities and a bicycle storage area.

Both floors are divided into two wings. Each wing lounge provides a television, various tables/chairs/couches. The ground floor lounge provides pool, ping-pong, foosball, a big-screen TV and couches. Vending machines are also available.Each wing laundry room provides four washers and four dryers. Each wing pantry room provides an ice machine, convection microwave oven, refrigerator and ample cabinet space.

Each bedroom provides two beds bunked (twin extra-long mattresses), two desks, two chairs, two dressers, two closets, window shades for all windows, one sink and balcony access (most rooms). Bathrooms have a shower/tub (shower curtain provided).
