Palm Beach Atlantic University offers a variety of degree programs for every level of prospective nursing student. These programs range from undergraduate to the doctorate level. The RN to BSN prepares Nurses with Associate Degrees in Nursing to advance their careers and their practice. The program can be completed in five semesters including all General Education courses. This degree program is designed with the working nurse in mind and delivered completely online.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is the introduction to professional nursing. It prepares graduates for licensure as RNs with careers in bedside nursing, leadership, community nursing, or graduate school. Graduates of this program are well respected in the community. This traditional on-ground BSN degree program is full-time and takes four years to complete.
The Master of Nursing in Health Systems Leadership prepares nursing for management and leadership positions. Graduates are eligible to sit for one of several nurse manager/executive certifications. The program can be completed in four semesters. This nursing degree is designed with the working nurse in mind and delivered in a hybrid format with most instruction delivered online and one live class per month.
The DNP-FNP program prepares graduates to be certified and licensed as Family Nurse Practitioners. The program ensures that graduates will not only be competent nurse practitioners able to care for individual patients, but also improve outcomes for health systems, communities ,and populations. Full time, the program takes three years (nine semesters) to complete and goes year round. This degree program is designed with the working nurse in mind and delivered online and one live class per month.
The DNP-EXL track prepares the doctoral student with advanced health systems leadership skills and clinical abilities with a Christ-centered focus, mission and goals. The curriculum will provide graduates with qualities that enhance leadership, expand communication and relationship management, strengthen business skills and principles and expand knowledge of the healthcare environment. This nursing degree program is designed for working professionals can be completed in eight semesters. It is devlivered in a hybrid format with most instruction delivered online and one live class per month.
The Post-Master's DNP is designed for nurses who have a master’s degree in nursing. The Post-Master's DNP provides nurses with additional policy, systems leadership and quality improvement experience, enabling them to practice at the highest level. The DNP helps nurses beyond helping individual patients to improving outcomes for health systems, communities and populations. This nursing degree program is designed for working professionals and can be completed full-time in five semesters. It is delivered in a hybrid format with most instruction delivered online and one live class per month.
