See What Our Graduates Have To Say
Bruce Hickson, '08 ORL
Consultant/J.D. Candidate at Case Western Reserve University School of Law
“I am proud of my graduate degree from the MacArthur School of Leadership. The faculty really took their time to get to know me and facilitate my focus on individual goals, both inside and outside of the classroom. Their one-on-one support led me to further my passion as an educator and provided me with the knowledge and skill set needed to begin my entrepreneurial journey.  As the founder and president of a non-profit organization that pushes the envelope on education reform, I attribute much of the leadership skills and ideals of servitude I acquired to the faculty's dedication to teaching these practical concepts that cannot be found in a textbook.  I am still in contact with many of my professors who cultivated my professional growth and advancement while helping me put the concepts and learning into action. Furthermore, the applicable workload given laid the foundation for my newly founded organization, which is a testament to the value of this leadership program."

“I choose to continue my education at PBA because of its close location to work, small class size, and the attentive, caring and professional instructors.”

“My master's degree in leadership has helped me in my career to be more understanding of those I work with; finding solutions to problems, and providing quality leadership among my peers and superiors.”

“At age 45, my last child left home. I was bereft and didn’t know what to do to occupy my spare time. A co-worker who was currently enrolled in the MacArthur School degree program suggested that I speak to one of your admissions counselors. They convinced me that age 45 was definitely not too old to begin college studies. I got started right away, completed the bachelor’s program in Organizational Management and then into the Master’s of Leadership program. The superb teaching staff along with the convenience of the adult evening program continued to draw me back.

"At age 45, I began college. At age 50, I received a master’s degree!”

“You’re never too old to begin or return to school. When you’re an adult, you have already finished growing up. You know what matters and how to prioritize. If you need a degree for career purposes, or like me, for personal reasons, Palm Beach Atlantic University has the staff and classes to help you be where you should be. The accelerated programs make it seem like you fly through the weeks.

"This school truly cares about its students, in both the traditional program and the adult program at MacArthur School of Leadership.”

“I feel so very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn at PBA and my life is forever enriched by the experience.

"Everyone at the University was so wonderful!  From start to finish I could not have asked for a better team of folks to work alongside and rely upon for help – students and faculty alike.“

Victor B. Williams, Delray Beach

Division Chief of Emergency Medical Services, Delray Beach Fire-Rescue Department

“Palm Beach Atlantic was my choice for its Christian environment, accelerated nature, professor/student ratio, and convenience of class schedules.”

“Professionally, completing my graduate studies catapulted me into the higher echelons of my organization, which allows me to employ the leadership theories and ideals learned in the program. Furthermore, there are other opportunities for promotion and with new leadership responsibilities.

"Understanding rewards and motivation, team building, organization change, multicultural environments, strategic planning for the future, and understanding the dynamics of management versus leadership has made the difference in my career and have opened the door of opportunity.

"Personally, completing my graduate degree has given me a sense of fulfillment. It has also presented my children with a viable, tangible example of what hard work, dedication, and perseverance can yield.”

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God for wisdom and understanding. Then seek PBA for your educational needs. Why? Because the programs are relevant and practical. The tools given are pragmatic and useful. The atmosphere is conducive to learning. But most importantly, the programs are Christ-centered, preparing the student for this world and the new world to come after Jesus' return.”
